15x faster than traditional dressing changes.

Slide the SnapFix over the pin instead of using alternate methods.

All pin sites will now have consistent dressings, protecting the wound
The SnapFix is a one-step wound application, developed by FXR, that improves the efficiency of foot and ankle surgeons after a surgical procedure. Instead of using gauze or homemade solutions, surgeons are now able to dress up to 15 pin sites quickly and efficiently in less than 45 seconds, saving valuable time in the operating room and the clinic. With this seamless application and removal process, the patient will be more comfortable when the dressing is being changed. This product is patent pending, cost-effective, 510K exempt, and is compatible with all External Fixator devices on the market.
Dr. Andrew Falco and Dr. Shyaun Rafii, esteemed foot and ankle surgeons, have been advancing the field of podiatric medicine in the Washington Metropolitan area since 2018. They met during their residency at Georgetown University Hospital and both went on to complete further training with fellowships in Advanced Foot and Ankle reconstruction and Sports Medicine.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence, Drs. Falco and Rafii embarked on a journey to revolutionize their practice. Their quest for innovation led them to engage with fellow foot and ankle specialists and leading medical device companies nationwide. Their collaborative efforts and dedication culminated in a significant achievement: securing a grant from the Center of MedTech Excellence at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Leveraging this grant, they turned their idea into reality, developing a working prototype. This groundbreaking innovation, known as the SnapFix, represents a leap forward in surgical techniques, reflecting their dedication to enhancing patient care through advanced medical technology.

The SnapFix is the first in a group of products that is under development. The FXR portfolio is wide-ranging, encompassing all aspects of medicine. Each product is designed to create simple solutions for complex problems, saving doctors time, frustration, and money. As staffing shortages continue, health care costs rise, and the industry, as a whole, is slow to respond to patient and provider needs, FXR will continue to be forward-thinking, helping to replace outdated techniques that limit efficiency with modern medical solutions that are affordable, innovative, and make an immediate impact in the industry.
